ROCK SCALING
Rock Scaling is the removal of loose and potentially unstable disjointed rocks on rock slopes and faces, but also includes the removal of loose dirt as well as brush and trees. It is the first step in all rock stabilization jobs to ensure the safety of the area and to proceed with drilling or other prescribed stabilization measures.
By removing rocks and loose surface material from slopes presenting a rockfall hazard, safe work can begin in the area. Scaling can be an individual slope stabilization measure, but is often performed as an initial process in a slope stabilization project.

ROCK BOLTING
Rock bolting stabilizes slopes and provides long-term safety by inserted steel rods into holes drilled into rock formations to provide support. Rock bolts can reinforce any excavation geometry by adjusting the length of the bolts and their spacing, depending on the reinforcement requirements.

DRAPE MESH
Drape Mesh is a core component of Jagerock’s rockfall mitigation and natural hazard protection solutions.
Ensuring the protection of roads, buildings and other structures near man-made cuttings or natural cliffs, Drape Mesh is a method used to keep deteriorating, lose rock in place on the slope and to safely deflect any falling rocks loosened over time into a containment area below.
